Lot 9: US 1922 Peace Silver Dollar
A US 1922 Peace silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 0.900 fine silver. It features the design type by Anthony de Francisci, whose monogram is visible on the obverse. The 1922 Philadelphia issue represents the highest mintage year for the Peace Dollar series.
Condition report:
Circulated. The coin displays wear across the high points of the design. The surfaces exhibit numerous contact marks, scratches, and small dings to the fields and rims. Darkened residue and toning are present in the protected areas surrounding the design and lettering.
