Clumber Auction House runs a regular calendar of sales from 1 Station Road, Laughton Common, Dinnington. Our general auctions of antiques, collectables, gold and silver are held fortnightly on Wednesdays, live in the saleroom and online at the same time, with anything from a few dozen to several hundred lots. In between, our Coins, Gold and Silver Bullion auctions run online only on Sundays. Catalogues go live on this website ahead of each sale, and lots can be viewed at the saleroom on weekdays from 09:30 to 15:00, or by appointment.

Bidding is free to set up: register once and you can bid live, leave an absentee bid or book a telephone line for any sale. The buyer’s premium is 18% of the hammer price on every lot.

Buying at Clumber in brief

• Register — Free, on the website or at the saleroom desk. We may ask for ID and, for some sales, a card on file.
• View — Weekdays 09:30 to 15:00 before each sale, or request a condition report by email.
• Bid — In the room, live online, by absentee bid or by telephone (by arrangement).
• Pay — Hammer price plus 18% buyer’s premium, within 5 working days, by card, bank transfer or cash within AML limits.
• Collect — Thursday and Friday 10:00 to 15:00 after Wednesday sales; Monday and Tuesday after Sunday sales; or ask about shipping.
