Lot 40: A Modern Painted Dressing Table Stool
A modern upholstered dressing table stool of rectangular form. The padded seat is upholstered in a damask-patterned fabric featuring pale grey and cream floral motifs. The wooden frame is finished in an off-white paint and is raised on four slender cabriole legs.
Condition report:
The painted frame shows minor surface scuffs and small chips consistent with use. The upholstery exhibits light surface pilling and wear, with noticeable fraying and loose threads at the corners where the fabric is folded over the frame. Some faint localised staining or darkening is present on the top surface of the fabric.
