A 2023 British Britannia bullion coin struck in .999 fine silver by The Royal Mint. The reverse features the standing figure of Britannia, a design by Philip Nathan, which incorporates modern security features including a latent image that changes from a trident to a padlock and surface animation in the background. The reverse is inscribed 1/10 oz, 999 FINE SILVER, and BRITANNIA 2023, with the name NATHAN visible at the base of the design. The obverse presents the first coinage portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings, with the initials MJ located below the truncation of the neck. The obverse legend reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 20 PENCE.

Condition report:
The coin exhibits significant signs of handling and wear. There are extensive scratches and scuffs across the fields and the raised relief of the Britannia figure and the King\'s portrait. Heavy dark toning and tarnish are present, particularly concentrated around the legends and the peripheral rim on both faces. Numerous small nicks and dings are visible along the outer edge. The original mint lustre is significantly diminished.
