A copper bullion round struck from .999 fine copper. The obverse features a profile portrait of a Native American man facing right, wearing two feathers in his hair. The legends include the struck word LIBERTY along the right margin. The reverse depicts an American bison standing on a mound, facing left. Struck inscriptions along the margins read .999 FINE COPPER and ONE AVDP OZ. The round is finished with a reeded edge. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The round shows signs of handling and environmental exposure. The obverse displays bright original copper lustre with scattered contact marks and fine surface scuffs. The reverse shows similar contact marks and light surface abrasions across the bison\'s body and the fields. No protective capsule or case is supplied.
