Lot 4: Canada 2020 Elizabeth II Fine Silver 5 Dollars Coin
A 2020 Canadian silver bullion coin, of circular form, struck in .9999 fine silver. The obverse depicts a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II set against a field of radial security lines. The strike features the inscriptions ELIZABETH II and 5 DOLLARS 2020. The small initials SB are struck on the truncation of the neck. The reverse shows a large textured maple leaf flanked by the fineness 9999, with a micro-engraved privy mark containing the number 20 near the stem. The legend is inscribed CANADA and FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR. The coin has a reeded edge. Metal purity and weight are proved by the struck legends.
Condition report:
The coin shows signs of handling and significant surface contact. The obverse exhibits extensive fine surface scratches and scuffing across the central portrait and the radial line fields (photo 1). The reverse displays light surface marks and minor dark spotting (photo 2). The coin is not housed in a protective capsule or original packaging.
