Lot 100: A 2004 Zippo Metal Lighter with New York Skyline Design
A 2004 metal windproof lighter of rectangular form with a flip-top lid. The front face features an etched scene depicting the New York City skyline, including the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge under a crescent moon, with the name New York appearing in stylised lettering above. The base is stamped with a letter J, a stylised Zippo logo, and the digits 04, positioned above the text BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A. The lighter is housed in a black plastic presentation case with a raised Zippo logo and the characters USA printed on the top rim. A white adhesive retailer label on the case reads PHANTOM OF BROADWAY and $25.99. The lot is accompanied by a contemporary thermal paper sales receipt dated 12-29-04. An orange and red adhesive warning sticker remains affixed to the reverse of the casing.
Condition report:
The lighter is in unused condition with the orange safety seal still adhered to the reverse. No visible surface scratches, scuffs, or dents are present on the metal surfaces. The plastic presentation case is complete and undamaged. The thermal receipt is legible despite minor age-related creasing. The item is supplied with its original plastic case and original sales receipt.
