Lot 104: A 2005 USA Zippo Pocket Lighter, United Arab Emirates Flag Decoration
A 2005 Zippo windproof pocket lighter, constructed from metal with a brushed finish. The front face is decorated with a printed graphic depicting the flag of the United Arab Emirates above the printed legend UNITED ARAB EMIRATES in black capital letters. The base of the casing is impressed with the maker’s ZIPPO logo and the date code J 05, together with the location BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A. The interior mechanism features a chimney with circular perforations and a wick containing integrated copper strands. The lighter is presented in its original two-piece black plastic display case. The case lid features a raised stylised ZIPPO logo and the interior base is marked USA. A manufacturer’s adhesive label is affixed to the bottom of the case, printed with 250 DUBAI-TWO HOTELS and a barcode reading 0 41689 01002 7.
Condition report:
The lighter appears in excellent, unused condition. The chimney and wick show no evidence of soot, charring, or previous ignition (photo 3). The brushed metal exterior exhibits negligible surface wear from handling (photo 1). The base markings are clear and legible (photo 2). The plastic display case and the manufacturer\'s label are intact and free from structural damage (photo 4).
