Antiques and pictures are the backbone of our fortnightly Wednesday sales at Dinnington. From a Georgian bureau to a Victorian watercolour of the Peak District, our general auctions offer a steady flow of period furniture, paintings, prints and decorative arts to a room of local dealers and private buyers, and to online bidders across the country.
We catalogue every piece honestly, photograph it properly and note age, maker and condition where we can establish them. Estimates are kept realistic, which is why our furniture and pictures sell well rather than sitting unsold. Buyers can view every lot at the saleroom on weekdays from 09:30 to 15:00 before the sale.
